A healthy game

I read through one of ghostcrawlers ask.fm posts. You can read it here: http://ask.fm/RiotGhostcrawler/answer/131876265355

It discusses what a healthy game is. RIOT, at least these past few months, have been machine gun releasing patches one after the other. With each patch, it severely changed the way the game was played, the power picks, the ''meta'' per say is in a constant state of Flux.

Being able to adapt is and always WILL be an important part of gaming, that isn't my issue.

My issue is having to re-define what each role does, especially the jungle. The jungle has been in such a flux due to all these changes its becoming difficult to decipher what role they perform, and not just what champions are played. ADC's indirectly buffed or otherwise, have been cycled to the point that WITHOUT RECEIVING A SINGLE NERF SINCE HER ULT CHANGE A FEW PATCHES AGO, Sivir has fallen off from the 'most powerful ADC tier'

In the post, he describes by his definition of a healthy game, a STABLE META is NOT part of that. In a way, its true. A meta that stays the same is never going to be healthy for a game. However, changing the game every two weeks is not the formula for a healthy game. Champions become strong, their counters become strong as a proxy, and the cycle continues. EG: Sivir strong, Counters like Vayne strong, Annie good into vayne becomes meta again, leona good vs annie (etc)

RIOT never really gives us a chance to let the meta EVOLVE. And when I say evolve I mean letting people FIGURE OUT counterpicking and strong counters without straight up changing everything.

Look at smash, that game NEVER had patches, and Fox was downright broken in melee. People learned HOW TO PLAY AGAINST IT, without straight buffing or nerfing anything.

I really think League can achieve this too.

TL;DR STOP FUCKING CHANGING THE GAME. MAYBE LET THE META EVOLVE OR LET US PLAYERS EXPLORE A PATCH

Thanks

rant over.
