Explaining the "Jatt Dilemma"

Glory Hallelujah, I woke up today to a thread being titled "Phreak embracing the jatt dilemma" sitting at #1 on Reddit. http://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/3be9h7/phreak_embracing_the_jatt_dilemma/

Before I get into the content of the post I need to explain something about the aforementioned "Jatt Dilemma" Even at the end of the "Jatt Dilemma" that was linked, Monte says "Jatt never said any of that" because guess what, it's all fabricated.

I would appreciate it if the Jatt Dilemma died. I don't say the things that are attributed to my name and then used to sully my reputation. I have never said C9 was the strongest team at worlds because they went 25-3, likewise I have never said an EU team is far weaker than NA because they couldn't beat their own region. It's always dependent on context. Back on 2013 I DID say that C9 was looking strong, and was far and away the best team in NA (because they were) and that they were NA's greatest hope at worlds. I also said that Fnatic, relative to their region, wasn't as strong as C9 (which was 100% true, they had to fight through regular season and playoffs.) But never did I say that C9 was definitively stronger than EU because they dominated their region and Fnatic didn't.

Now on to the rest of the post! I want to talk about analysis and the style of broadcast that exists in North America.

Some fans have been making it out to seem like NA casters are "extremely biased" and "only hype up NA but don't deliver truth." I encourage all of those fans to watch an NA LCS broadcast. Even listening to yesterday, there were dozens of examples of Kobe, Myself, Phreak, or Zirene talking about miss-plays, mistakes, and weaknesses of teams. It would also be considered poor broadcasting if we constantly referenced how TSM lost at MSI and how NA Chances were slim compared to other regions during a regular season match, halfway through the split. We talk about relative things, and we are honest about them. NA casters have been highly critical of NA teams.

I will link a bunch of additional reading, to help dispel more of the miss-information in the thread.
