Freedom of information Request to GGHB

This following request was submitted to Greater Glasgow Health Board on the 3rd June 2015.

Please may I request under the freedom of Information the following.

http://library.nhsggc.org.uk/mediaAssets/library/Report%20to%20Chief%20Exec%20and%20Dir%20of%20Finance%20of%20GGHB%20-%20Proposed%20purchase%20land%20at%20former%20Lennox%20Castle%20Hospital%20by%20Celtic%20FC.pdf

From this document from the sale of Lennoxtown to Celtic PLC it outlines why you would accept not putting Lennoxtown on the open market.

This is what you stated for this to occur

Now the Property Adviser said this 'when it was proved there is explicit agreement between the property adviser and the independent valuer that an ''off market'' sale will deliver a clear advantage over an open market sale'.

And the Independent Valuer said this https://footballtaxhavens.files.wordpress.com/2014/04/inglis-comment.png

In both these accounts there is no mention that the ''off market'' sale will deliver a clear advantage over an open market sale.

Please can you now outline and provide full details under freedom of information what explicit agreement between the Property Adviser and the Independent Valuer was agreed upon that made this sale have the advantage of an off market purchase rather than being exposed to its full potential on an open market purchase.

Please could you provide all documents relating to this agreement and how all parties justified this transaction based on your own guidelines.

Now speaking with these people today and requesting when they would furnish me with the information, I am in no doubt that before the request comes back there will be no records of this information.

It appears they are seeking this information and with the deadline for the 1st July 2015, and the information I was furnished with from the good lady I spoke to who became very agitated when confronted with salient points, that the information requested will be filed under ''We do not have the information you request''

Now if that is the case, and I sincerely believe it will be, that in itself is an incredible thing. Under their own guidelines the Greater Glasgow Health Board state very clearly '''when it was proved there is explicit agreement between the property adviser and the independent valuer that an ''off market'' sale will deliver a clear advantage over an open market sale''.

For the avoidance of doubt, Lennoxtown land was sold to Celtic PLC ''off market''
