青衣站於中午十二時，接到 47 號舖的診所通知，指一名求診者出現「中東呼吸綜合症」（MERS）病徵，並隨即將之隔離
診所已同時聯絡衛生署跟進個案，並召喚救護車到場將病人送院治理
港鐵公司表示，青衣站站務人員在戴上個人防護裝備（PPE）後，已將 47 號舖附近封鎖，並安排清潔公司以 1:49 方式稀釋的漂白水，為車站公眾範圍，作全面消毒
據診所提供的資料，病人從 C 出口（青敬路）進入診所，沒有途經大堂，亦未曾搭乘列車
現時，4 個直接接待國際旅客的車站，即：機場、紅磡、羅湖 / 落馬洲站已加強清潔。該站的扶手電梯、升降機、售票機、增值機、閘機等，經常為乘客所能接觸的設施，每 2 小時會由以 1:99 方式稀釋的漂白水消毒
乘客亦可留意車站、車廂的螢幕，有關勤加洗手，留意個人衛生的訊息；
鏡頭、鍵盤不能阻止現實事件發生，若發現嘔吐物等，應即時通知車站職員處理

Tsing Yi Station received a call from a clinic at Shop 47 stated that Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (#MERS) symptoms appeared on one of their patients. The patient was subsequently isolated from other parties immediately
The clinic notified The Department of Health at the same time and summoned an ambulance sending the patient for medical treatment
According to #MTR Corporation, station staff at Tsing Yi have closed the area near Shop 47 after equipped personal protective equipment and arranged a cleaning company to sterilise the station's public area with 1:49 diluted household bleach
According to the clinic, the patient entered from Exit C (Tsing King Road) to the clinic without passing through the concourse nor taking any trains
4 stations serving international passengers directly － Airport, Hung Hom, Lo Wu / Lok Ma Chau Stations have strengthened their cleaning activities. Escalators, Lifts, Ticket Vending Machines, Add-Value Machines, Turnstiles and facilities could be touched by passengers frequently are sterilised with 1:99 diluted household bleach
Passengers may also take note on information displays in stations and on trains for reminders of keep washing your hand frequently and maintaining personal hygiene
Cameras and keyboards could not avoid real life events, please notify station staff immediately if you found any pools of vomit
