Recent Problems
There are some people who are dedicating their time to digging through my oldest forum posts and chat logs to find the most embarrassing things that I did or said in the past, and spreading screenshots and quotes around to try and make me look bad so that volunteers stop contributing to the project. These people post snippets from old chat logs that no longer reflect who I am, or post out-of-context screenshots to cause misunderstandings and change people's perception of me. (Some of the screenshots are from 2008, seven years ago, when I was a teenager.) They're also trying to spread a narrative that "Yandere Simulator is falling apart!" whenever a volunteer leaves the project due to personal differences, even though there are still plenty of volunteers who enjoy working on the project.
I would be happy to clear up any misunderstandings, but unfortunately, some people don't wait around to hear my side of the story, and jump to conclusions without giving me a chance to explain myself. There have already been a handful of people who believed the propaganda and decided to stop supporting Yandere Simulator, rather than giving me a chance to clear my name.
It's extremely difficult to continue investing hours of my day into the project, knowing that everything I've built could collapse because of false accusations, baseless rumors, ancient chat logs, out-of-context screenshots, and irrelevant drama. I have faults and flaws and failings just like everyone else in the world, but I'm not the spawn of Hitler and Satan. I'm just a normal dude. I've never harmed anyone. I just wanted to make a video game.
