*** I'm aware that another fan of Jared's posted about this. I'm not entirely sure if they got the idea from my previous posts or if they came up with it on their own, but either way, Jared deserves all of the love in the world. This project is extremely important to me and the letters that I have received over the past few months are just too incredible and touching to not give to Jared. ***
As most of you already know, Jared has recently launched a campaign dedicated to people struggling with depression, self-injury, addiction, and suicidal thoughts. Over the past few days, I've read dozens of stories sent out over twitter and facebook that talk about how much Jared has helped people overcome their battles. These stories are what inspired me to come up with the following project and here's how you can join:
1. Write a letter to Jared. What you write in this letter is entirely up to you, it can be a personal story/situation in which you found Jared's advice helpful, it can be about how he has inspired you to keep fighting, or it can just be about how much he means to you.
(The length is also entirely up to you- it can as long as you want, or as short as you want)
2. At the end of this letter, sign your name and write what state (or country) you are from.
3. You can send your letter to my email address ( May1st98@yahoo.com ).
I will print out all of the letters I receive and put them all in a scrapbook. I'll fix it up and make it look really nice, I promise ;-). I'll hand the scrapbook to Jared (or his bodyguard Cliff) when I see them at NJCon next September.
