交代今早東鐵綫的事故 Summaries of the incident on East Rail Line this morning


今早 0805 時,東鐵綫「列車控制系統」(Train Control System)故障,控制中心無法調度列車
約 5 分鐘後,備用機組接手調度工序。不久,上水站有道岔機故障,阻礙列車調頭出市區,至 0900 時修妥

期間,為紓緩大圍、大埔墟站月台擠逼情況,部分列車需中途停止服務,變成空車往這些車站載客。馬鞍山綫列車又因為難於落客,而略有延誤
由於港鐵公司今早未有承認發生事故,故官方網頁未有刊載《延遲證明書》,亦沒有在閘機附近貼出通告。另一方面,為免影響月台的關門提示聲帶,車站無法用九廣鐵路留下的自動廣播系統,通知道乘客



At 0805 hours, the Train Control System was malfunctioned and the Operations Control Centre was unable to regulate trains across the line

Approx. 5 mins later, standby servers took over the regulating work. Soon a Point Machine was out of order thus preventing trains heading to urban area

During the incident, some services were terminated in the middle of their way and moved to Tai Wai and Tai Po Market to relief the overcrowding situation there. Slight delays were found on Ma On Shan Line since detrainments were hard at Tai Wai

MTR denied the incident during morning peak hours, no Delay Certificate has been issued through the official website and no related message were provided near gate arrays. Meanwhile, stations were unable to make incident announcements by the automated broadcasting system inherited from KCRC to avoid overlapping with door closing chimes
