SUSPECT ARRESTED, ADDITIONAL VICTIMS POSSIBLE #CmichAlerts
The CMU Police Department has arrested a 24-year-old CMU student for criminal sexual assault in the 4th degree. The original incident took place at an academic building on campus. The incident was reported to police the night of April 15, 2015, and an investigation was started.
Police say the male student approached a staff member and asked to take a selfie photograph with her. He then inappropriately touched her chest.
Investigators believe the suspect may have done similar things to others on campus. If you have been a target of this type of conduct, please contact the CMU Police Department at 989-774-3081.
