Hearing on Aug 8, 2011 determined the ‘supposed’ letters from Travis admitting to pedophilia were forged.
Nurmi has since claimed the forged letters should be allowed as the pros hand writing expert couldn’t say with 100% accuracy they weren’t written by Travis.
They were also tossed because they were photocopies…not originals and really no way to verify they were real.

it has been alleged that Matt helped JA create these letters. I have seen no proof.
Arias dated Matt McCartney from 2000 to 2001, but they remain friends.
Within a month before the Aug date, Juan Martinez interviewed Matt McCartney. Jodi spoke by telephone with Matt about the upcoming interview.
August 4, 2011 Jodi tried to get someone to lie…Matt McCartney! Jodi tried to pass 2 magazines to supporter, Ann Campbell (read, she’d pass them on to Matt McCartney).
The magazines contained a message to Matt written in the margins of the magazine.
The whole reason this came up even though the forged letters were tossed is because on direct, Nurmi opened the door wide and all Martinez had to do was walk through it.
