Q: How do you feel when seeing China fans?
J: Looking forward~~ Firstly, it's my first time coming to China, and also first time seeing China fans. Maybe that's why, I had a feeling of restarting.
Q: This is the first time coming to China, before this, what's your impression about China?
J: Sumptuous country (??) That's what I always thought so. And when mentioning, I will think of The Great Wall of China. I wanted to go badly too. Then researched a while and found out Summer Palace is also very pretty. I want to go and see.
Q: You composed a lot of nice songs. Which composition is your most impressed recently?
J: *thinking seriously* A lot of people like the song "Everlasting Sunset". Though all the songs are written by me, there are more people liking it, and more people listening to it, so this song left a bit deeper impression (than the rest) to me.
Q: So, introduce a bit about the story behind this song composition.
J: This song is my... first! time! break! up! song. *innocent**straight-forward* [yea... it's like this~ meow~]
Q: When composing, is there any particular "Exclusively JUNIEL"'s little habits?
J: Recently, it's lyrics that come to mind first. If I thought of any good or interesting materials.... (I) will record in handphone's memo first, then interpret it to write lyrics.
Q: During trainee time, (you) practiced guitar with FTISLAND, CNBLUE sunbaes, after debut, you had duets with sunbae Lee Jonghyun, Jung Yonghwa... Is there any interesting things when getting along?
J: Just feel that it's amazing that one by one debuted. Practicing guitar and singing together... suddenly oppas became FTISLAND (members) and started promoting, and CNBLUE, looking at them maturing better, I actually feel "wah and pretty contented" . Now when (we) gathered together, talking about the past, (I) will still feel it's meaningful.
Q: You are the only solo in the company idol singers. When seeing other groups in the company promoting, do you feel lonely?
J: Nope, I didn't feel lonely once before. Instead sometimes I feel that seeing each other once in a while is also not bad. In fact, we always meet in the company, so I don't really feel lonely.
Q: Who do you wish to collaborate with? Or who do you wish to write song for?
J: Maybe we got closer recently. Recently, I keep talking to singer Younha unnie and got closer a lot. It would be good to compose with unnie ^^ and also I like Epik High sunbae's songs a lot. It would be good if I can compose song with Epik High sunbaes.
Q: You came China today, so did you learn some Chinese before you come?
J: *feel embarrassed* ........ a little? oh.... i learn that..... "How are you recently?" .... "Are you busy with work?" I learnt these sentences~
Q: Shall we teach you some simple Lunar New Year greetings?
J: "Happy New Year" "Have an auspicious beginning" "Revel in success" [Side note: These trans may not be accurate]
Juniel is to answer question while playing guitar. After hearing the questions, she's not allowed to ponder and to reply immediately. In between, she cannot stop playing guitar.
Q: Nickname?
J: ... nickname? what's my nickname? I don't seem to have nickname.
Q: Motto in life?
J: Not so much of a motto. When I feel exhausted, I will say one sentence, "Juniel I love you". I will keep saying this sentence.
Q: Do you hug dolls to sleep?
J: I won't hug doll to sleep, but I will hang my legs up (?) to sleep (see the cartoon in the video)
Q: Favourite Chinese dishes?
J: I like hotpot.
Q: Which China singers or band do you want to work with?
J: ... JJ Lin [Side Note: He's Singaporean!!]
Q: Which is harder, writing lyrics or composing?
J: I.... think both are equally hard. But..... comparing with composing, writing lyrics is still harder.
Q: The latest message you send to?
J: The latest message sent? There's a oppa who promote in China recently. Contacted with that oppa not long ago.
Q: What New Year present do you wish to receive?
J: New Year present that I wish to receive? Boyfriend! *in the same world, with the same dream*
Q: Favourite anime character?
J: Bono Bono!
Q: What will you do if you are not a singer?
J: Can't imagine. Can't imagine if I'm not a singer.
Q: If you were to go to uninhabited island with someone, who will you bring?
J: Going to uninhabited island? .... It's so difficult..... then have to bring manager. *Is there hatred or resentment"
Q: What is the song title that you are playing now?
J: Ahhh... this? It's a song that I have not released in Korea. It's called "Lucid Dream", one of my self-composed songs.
