Queen rocks Viena with Donauwaltz
The Queen's fans experienced a concert for the eternity in the town hall.
\"We are The champions! We are The champions! \" These words were never probably more suitable than yesterday. Queen turn out in Vienna once more than the biggest rock band of the history of music. And Adam Lambert is the new King. The town hall was – as already in all nine (!) queen's appearances precedingly – sells off completely. 13,000 fans with the rock event of the year.
Risk
Queen are also nearly 24 years after the death of Freddie Mercury the last big(great) constant. Also because one avoided no risk and 25 world hits, like Another One Bites the Dust, radio predid(preemployed) Ga Ga or Fat Bottomed Girls, the only 33-year-old casting singer Adam Lambert. A combination which to begin with some fans doubt, however, yesterday completely Vienna allowed to rejoice.
Triumph
Lambert filled Mercurys gigantic footprints with bravado, did not try only at all as a copy, but rocked with unbelievable vocal property and careless ease. Even with tweeters, like Saving Me, every nuance sat perfectly. The legends Brian May and Roger Taylor were anyhow a class(form) for themselves, took over for rarities like in '39 also the song(singing) and played the Donau(river) waltz.
Freddie
As a highlight of unbelievable hit fireworks there was to Love of micron Life and Bohemian Rhapsody even Freddie Mercury himself: as a videorecording. A concert for the eternity!
