Tomorrow I was supposed to appear on British TV Show “This Morning”. They had seen me in the press and wanted to feature me on their show. As I’m sure you know I’ve had mixed reactions to "that" now somewhat famous/infamous picture. I stand by my intentions so I accepted their invitation. Not only would it give me the chance to personally address some of the accusations in my own words but of course it would be a great career opportunity to promote myself on Television to a huge national audience.

They arranged a car to collect me and scheduled an interview with one of the show’s producers I’m assuming to give them a heads up on what I intended to say on the show. Following this interview the producer’s response was that I would not suit the show unless I came across as more condescending and opinionated (they wanted someone more like “Katie Hopkins”). Like the Newspaper headlines they wanted to spark controversy by labelling me as a “fat-shamer” and throwing me to the great British public for trial. But in short apparently I was “too nice”… their words not mine lol. I do stand by my morals and my intentions and nothing will persuade me to take any other stance.

I have not retaliated to the negative comments circulating the internet, mainly because I have been absolutely overwhelmed by the huge amount of support I have received. To hear that I have inspired so many people to make positive changes in their lives means I have truly succeeded in what I set out to do.

I posted a picture to show an example of what can be achieved through diet and exercise; this is not shaming those who have no desire to achieve it. I wanted it to motivate those who need to be led by example and give hope to those who thought it not possible. I could have picked a different caption… true… but would I have reached as many people if I did? Not everyone wants a six pack, trust me I know, but my extreme transformation was a good advert for an underlying message that IF you have a fitness goal, whatever it might be, being a mum won’t stop you from achieving it.

Huge thanks to everyone who has taken the time to contact me, the amount of emails I've received and all your positive messages & comments are so humbling, I will do my very best to reply to everyone
