All performers need a performance visa to be able to perform at the awards ceremony. The organizers are supposed to provide those visas to the artists. Most groups were given their visas but for some groups (including BEAST, Bangtan, and Got7), they were given tourist visas. The organizers made a mistake with the visas. Whether or not they can stand on stage is still uncertain.
