#UniteForCharity #FandomsRaiseAwareness (Fandoms use power for the greater good)

Summary: #UnitedForCharity is about fandoms/communities coming together to raise money for charity.

Charity chosen to raise money for: SANE (mental health charity) - They're on board with this campaign! So they will be actively involved on Social Media and they'll feature the campaign on their website. [http://www.sane.org.uk/]

The current goal is £5000. Please donate, every penny counts!
I have used 'JustGiving' so EVERY week the charity receives your donations.
You can donate:
1. Online
2. By texting the code 'UFCS63' followed by how much money you want to donate (e.g. UFCS63 £10) to 70070! -----> [it's quicker!!]
Here are some ideas on how you can help raise awareness (you've all been great so far!)
1. Follow @UniteForCharity and tweet the tag #UniteForCharity
2. Encourage people in a different fandom to you to join the campaign e.g. by sending them a quick tweet or email
3. Share the campaign with 10 or more people e.g. co-workers or friends + family & encourage them to donate. [even if they don't use social media]
4. Tweet the campaign to as many influential people as you can.
5. Make a video about #UniteForCharity e.g. http://t.co/k4b7qBSNpR
6. Create a sign + share it on social media e.g. pic.twitter.com/WQhiYKUwgY
7. If you know any influential people 'connections' then share the campaign with them.
8. Spread the word about #UniteForCharity in your local town/ school (put up posters etc.)
9. Contact your local radio stations or newspapers to give #UniteForCharity coverage [if you're able to do this then contact me]
10. Email me if you have any ideas!
To you who is reading this, remember that TOGETHER we can all make a change and help improve the lives of others. Every penny counts. Lets use our power to do something positive.
