Last Friday, I got a call to my Smart number, from a landline, claiming they were from Globe. Apparently, due to research on their part, I was eligible to apply for a postpaid plan. This was not the first time I got a call from Globe on my Smart number. Funny thing is, I haven't used Globe since late 2012, and I was barely using the network from late 2010-onwards, because I was living abroad. Is this an MO of Globe to call Smart numbers to get them to move to their network?? If I was interested in moving back, I wouldn't talk to someone on the goddamn phone, I would go to one of their branches. It's annoying to find your work day interrupted from a seemingly important call, only to find your network's competitor calling you about availing of a plan.
