Quest-verse: Dreams of Another Life. (Repost)

Kizár shook herself awake, quickly realizing she was in a warm pocket with a familiar heartbeat not far away. That was calming, being able to listen to Kíli, especially after her dreams.
She had to wonder if maybe trying to divine more from her other lives had awoken memories she did not want to look at.The depressing part was that said memories, unlike that vision-sending of her being pregnant, were completely of this life, even if she made herself bury them so deep they felt otherwise.
That life... an escape that turned out to be not that much better than the captivity she had run from, losing people over and over, losing her *sisters*, regaining them, then eventually losing them again... A life she wanted to forget, full of too much pain, too much fighting, too much death.
When she had first been found by Kíli, she had chosen to live a new life, be a child again, grow up again, at least in spirit. It had healed a lot of lingering pain, both from the Deep Fire, the darkness of Angband, and the hurt of that unacknowledged life. It had felt as though she had purified herself, but now it was all swamping her again, the *grey* memories of war and blood and *taint*...
No, she would have to put up with the awakened memories, she was likely facing fighting that such memories would be of great use in, even if she had body, no sword of her own...
Again she shook herself, randomly wondering if Kíli had noticed. If she had to delve into that life's memories, so be it. She did not have to be pleased about it though.
