Letter to Intel Market Re: Gamasutra Ad Removal
To whom it may concern:
I recently saw that Intel has decided to pull their advertising from Gamasutra due to the "controversial" nature of "recent articles" posted to the site.
Let's not mince words: Gamasutra is one of the gaming industry's finest publications, and it has proudly played host to articles discussing the critical issue of feminism in gaming. By all appearances, Intel has capitulated to the denizens of an Internet hate mob seeking to extinguish that conversation.
Please reconsider your ad removals, if only because the change reflects negatively on Intel's public stance on diversity and social issues affecting the people and industries that are its close partners.
