The "moderate" pro-#GamerGate And why you shouldn't trust him. A guide:

This movement is almost a month old. And now we have from celebrities to prominent YouTube, to journalists and famous cosplayers supporting us.

Looks good right? Yeah. But it depends.

#GamerGate advocacy is for ethics. Since this is the case, there is no "moderate ethics" thus there is no moderate Pro-#GamerGate.

Examples of tweets you will find by a false supporter or a "moderate":

"I agree with some points but, the harassment..."
"I think it's nice, but you guys shouldn't attack/harass people..."
"I support some ideas but I don't think journalist should lose their jobs, also the harassment..."

As you see, in this examples, the person implies every time that #GamerGate is about harassment, and ignore the concerns of ethics. And some times not only ignores the concerns of ethics they also oppose it.

We have to support our true supporters. The gamedevs like Daniel Vavra, and journalists like Milo who vocally supported us, and didn't put any question into our motivations. Because they understand this is about ethics, and there is no question in ethics. Don't trust people who want to talk about harassment or keeps bringing it up. This are the ones who ignore what #GamerGate really is, and are only using it for attention and to create diversion.

Yesterday Milo posted a screenshot that had first appeared in reddit:

Milo Yiannopoulos @Nero

"If this is legit, it shows games journalists using the same victimhood ploys as the SJWs they support. #GamerGate "
https://twitter.com/Nero/status/513016521753628672

Note that Milo says clearly " If this is legit" putting in question the legitimacy of the screenshot.

That screenshot contained a rant by Ben Kuchera. Some time later writer(including Polygon) and cosplayer who is a "moderate" supporter(?) of GamerGate decided it was a good idea to say this to Milo:

Liana K ‏@redlianak
"@Nero who is he talking to? You're editing evidence. that's not ethical."
https://twitter.com/redlianak/status/513051103697846272

Of course for a movement as volatile as ours, this direct attack was followed by people defending and attacking in both sides during many hours.

If anything else we just lose. People got divided. And Some people blocked each other, and I'm talking about #GamerGate supporters not opposition.

It's important to note that someone like Liana K that expresses to have a moderate opinion, is hardly useful to our movement. Also if she was a moderate she wouldn't attack Milo in any way putting his ethical conduct in question. To later use his words and make this ridiculous screencap:
https://twitter.com/redlianak/status/513057496064589825

The reasons why moderate people like Liana K or Erik from Forbes, are useless to our movement is that they still imply we are a harassment movement, every time they talk.

Here is a tweet from Liana K after she was criticized because of her article on #GamerGate:

Liana K ‏@redlianak
"So after 13 hours and over 400 tweets, many abusive, I still think #GamerGate is pretty cool."

https://twitter.com/redlianak/status/512826248343457792

As you will note, she made certain to point out that "some" tweets were "abusive", while still calling #GamerGate "pretty cool". She receives criticism for a article, by whoever number of people, but still, she implies that the abusive ones are part of our movement.

I used Liana as the example because her actions talk by itself. I'm not taking anything out of context, neither I'm making up conspiracy here. She may or may not be a real supporter. But still moderation is not support, it's diversion.

If you have any doubt that she is just creating diversion in our movement, go to her twitter page and look what she retweets, and what she tweets, and in what moments of conversation she does it. You will find a pattern of "Chaotic-Neutral" opinions.

Learn and identify this kind of actions in other people, and warn others of it. We must learn and adapt.

Again, this is not a call for a smear campaign or Harassment.

#GamerGate is for Ethics. There is no moderate Ethics.
