NGCP Media Advisory, 19Sept2014: NGCP restored power transmission services in parts of Camarines Sur Province today, September 19, 2014 after re-energizing the Naga-Libmanan 69kV Line.
Parts of Camarines Sur I and II Electric Cooperative (CASURECO I and II) experienced the power interruption earlier today, September 19, 2014, which lasted from 2:17 AM to 7:25 AM.
Initial reports indicate that the outage was caused by a branch of tree that hit a part of the Naga-Libmanan 69kV Transmission Line which is already owned by CASURECO.
NGCP continues to strengthen the transmission network with its regular maintenance activities done in close coordination with CASURECO I and II. Both utilities are working together to improve services to power consumers. (END)
