Disclaimer: All happened in a dream ! This is just an idea for an initiative and yes it requires lot of efforts for implementation and involves cons as well. At this point we don't know what to do or how to do, this is just a spark to kindle your thoughts on what can be done !

Its good to see that unlike rest, we Tamil community tweet hearts are very much united like a big joint family with evolving thinkers as well as expanding day to day. Be a political satire,spirituality,philosophy,cinema fights,music fights,humor,mockery etc each one of us have their own genre and having good time daily here in our personal space. Apart from our daily chit chats in virtual social space why not we cant do some monthly welfare actions for the real social space !

Now imagine a setup of Twitter Tamil community Social Welfare NGO,with proper website,bank account, Leaders,members,volunteers etc..(Read Disclaimer)

say as a rule ,each member contributes 10 RS in month start ( Not even a cost of cigarette,alcohol, or the amount we spend for our social pleasures).

If 1000 followers of a PRABALAM transfers 10 RS to welfare banking account ,we have 10000 RS by month end. In a cumulative frequency the no of members, contribution amount and no of money transfer will increase to give a big sum eventually just like that.

As as i said imagine we have a setup, where our website and accountants keep track of the transfers (sharing bank mini statement for the month), so that the members are aware that their deposits are in right place.

We can sponsor sports articles to govt school children to motivate them
Tree saplings,
Donate money to build rest rooms
sponsor braille and art classes for specially talented children
....
.....
This list is exhaustive,each of us can say a lot and yes we cant do big things, but we can do small things monthly !.

We will have a forum to discuss and select the action that have to be done using the amount collected. Each member can put up some photos and share stories that explain what is required in the rural region they aware of. Based on voting and the money collected on that month ,say 25th to 30 we will finalize what needs to be done and where !.

Respective Leaders and member who put up the need will visit and sponsor on behalf of twitter Tamil community before 5th of next month and upload the evidence so that all the members are aware of the happening.

Like a cycle, members contribute 10 rs in month start, plan the action in month end, and chosen action is implemented in next month before 5th . and we enjoy as usual daily as well by pursuing our routine chit chats. Just imagine a exponential growth !

Soon through our small united action we would be in hearts of people.

திரும்பவும் சொல்றேன், இது எல்லாமே கனவுல தோன்றியது. எப்படி பண்றது, யார் பண்றது எதுவும் எனக்கு தெரியாது,இல்ல இதெல்லாம் முடியுமா எனக்கு தெரியாது .1000 இல்லைனாலும் 100 பேர் 10 ரூபா குடுத்தாலுமே பெரிய விஷயம் !

கனவு நெனவான நல்ல இருக்கும்னு விடிஞ்சதும் தோணிச்சு,நமக்கே தெரியாம நம்மனால கிராம புரங்கள் வளர்ச்சி ! இணையத்தில் அரசியல் வாதிகளை போல் வாய் பேச்சும்,வெட்டி சண்டை மட்டுமல்ல,மாதமானால் அமைதியாக செயலும் செய்கிறார்கள் என்று போன தலைமுறை நம்மலை பாராட்டா ஆசை.

ஆகவே பெரியோர்களே ,தாய்மார்களே பிரபலங்களே உங்களுக்கும் இந்த கனவு பிடித்தால், அது மெய்பட என்ன செய்யலாம் நம் தமிழ் சமூகம் சாரிபில் என்பதை பற்றி கலந்துரையாடுங்கள் . எண்ணற்ற இளைஞர்கள் உங்கள் பின்னால் .
