Dear Mr Kilker

Public online message boards and potentially defamatory statements

It has been drawn to my attention that you are using public online message boards to make potentially defamatory statements about Councillor Patel. The message boards are in the public domain and are found here: www.twitter.com/TrollhunterX and www.trollhunterx.proboards.com.

Whilst recognising the importance of free speech and open public debate on issues of public interest or concern, where defamatory statements are made, defamation actions may be taken against you by the individuals concerned.

I would request that you give careful consideration to any future material that you place in the public doman for these reasons.

The usual formal channels continue to be available to you if you have matters you wish to raise in the future.

Hi,

Beyond it being 'drawn to your attention', do you have any evidence to substantiate these claims? One would suffice.

Perhaps you could enlist the aid of Martin Surl and his new cybercrime division (not a pretext to demand more money at all).

In fact, I have given careful consideration to everything I have said about authorities in Gloucestershire, be they the council, the police force, or quasi-authoritative crime commissioners, and 'community leaders'. As I have mostly been complaining about the incompetence and corruption of those bodies and individuals (and suspect that the corruption may have developed as a consequence of covering up the instances of incompetence), any action you now feel like taking would be very welcome. Publish and be damned.

But I do have a matter to raise with you, having received not just your letter above this morning, but a supposed response to my complaint about cllr Patel.

As I have made repeatedly clear, I have 'referred' requests for information to the board of BTD, as requested by the board, on half a dozen occasions over half a year, and received not one single response (each time being told by staff that I would need to email them, when I visited their offices to ask why I'd received no answer). Therefore, despite cllr Patel insisting that it would be a 'conflict of interest' for him to 'be involved in matters relating to BTD', I can see no other option, if the board continue to behave like this, other than for my ward councillor on the board to act in my interests, and the ward of Barton & Tredworth. Or perhaps he, a Conservative councillor, would like one of our other, Labour, ward councillors to take on the job?

But do I need to remind you, Ms Mullins, that following your failure to provide any confirmation about the informal resolution I supposedly agreed to for over three weeks, and the dismissal by Martin Shields of my complaint about that, I opted for formal resolution instead, as whichever I choose, you seem determined to string things out, and a formal resolutions probably have strict time constraints. So no, I don't consider my complaint resolved, in any way.
