Why we do this:

"A child is born with a heart of gold. The way of the world makes his heart grow cold." This is one of the saddest lyrics ever. Is it true?
As children, we were excited about everything around us. And more compassionate. More trusting, less jaded about life, less bitter, less resentful. Every day now, we are getting more stories of children giving back and paying it forward than adults.
We are not arrogant or naive enough to believe we can change the world, but maybe in some small way, we can recapture - for ourselves as well - some of that sense of both excitement and goodness, that we have lost somewhere along the way. To remind ourselves and others, that in a selfish and often cold world, there is a place for random generosity. And definitely a place for people coming together in a fun way. And that we can each pay it forward. Not changing the world, but hopefully making a small positive impact, around the world. And this is why we didn't stop in San Francisco, or California, or the United States.
We are a worldwide movement.
Love.
