[trans] 140613 Music Japan PD - Back Story of Tohoshinki's Recording

A genuine thank you for always watching Music Japan. This is Producer P.
This week, Tohoshinki finally appears on MJ after a long time.
Tohoshinki, who will celebrate their 10th anniversary since their debut in Japan next year, have extraordinary perseverance.
Although the fans probably already know this, because Tohoshinki debuted in Japan, they are labelled as "J-Pop".
Therefore, in CD shops etc, they are displayed together with other J-Pop artistes.
It was because they have the type of strong resolve to set foot definitively on Japanese soil and want to be active as a J-Pop artiste that these 9 years of path which they walked were possible.
On Music Japan, from the time of their Japanese debut, they received attention the fastest, and Music Japan had broadcast numerous songs of theirs, including special broadcasts todate.
The things which always surface in my mind every time Tohoshinki has a recording, are their cutting edge sounds and polished dances, and their hot performances which elicit the smell of sweat. All these were created for their Japanese fans, and is labelled as high quality J-Pop.
Tohoshinki, who have walked on till today by sincerely facing their Japanese fans, even proudly flaunt their top-class mobilization power in Japan as a male group now.
At the previous Music Japan recording, there were also loud screams of support for them which were deafening.
In reality, they recorded their new song "Sweat" twice. Although the reason for this was a mistake on the part of NHK, I heard them saying thank you to the dancers the next time.
The dancers' cheers were also so loud that there were a lot of misses because we weren't able to capture the sound well. On the second recording, they danced precisely.
Amidst various different meanings (for the word "Sweat"), the performance "Sweat" was one where they were drenched in "perspiration", although it is not the full version, it was a special version which contained a lot of the dance movements.
Please anticipate it a lot.
And the remaining one song is "Something", for which the full version will be broadcast for the first time on TV. Although there was a incident whereby we had to abandon a recording because their schedules could not accommodate it in January this year, because they came to NHK Hall this time around, we requested that they perform "Something" and their new song.
"Something" is a song which incorporates swing jazz and the performance is painstakingly made up of diverse influences, so we requested that they definitely had to show this performance in NHK Hall as the original performance was.
In this way, they decided to perform the full version, and they also included the choreography used in their tour.
Around the time when the recording had ended and they were leaving, Yunho-ssi told the dancers, "Because today's performances were extremely good, please definitely watch it on TV", himself talking about today's performances in a satisfied manner. Of course, everybody will also watch it right? ke
