[News] 140624 SJ-M on Idols of Asia— When Kyuhyun speaks to his parents, it's like talking to his girlfriend.

After performing last Saturday, Super Junior-M’s Kyuhyun, Donghae, Eunhyuk, Ryeowook, Sungmin, Zhoumi, and Henry stayed for 2 more days to promote their 3rd mini album, “Swing.” They participated in MTV’s “Idols of Asia” yesterday, and as they wished, got to eat the Taiwanese delicacies they wanted.

When SJ-M received host Ken’s spicy hot questions, the members started revealing many things about each other. When asked about who is the closest to their parents (ie. a Mommy & Daddy’s boy), everyone unanimously pointed at Kyuhyun. He shyly admitted, “I still kiss my parents’ cheeks every day when I greet them, and will tell them ‘I love you’ on the phone.” Ryeowook teased, “Every time he speaks on the phone, I think that he’s talking to his girlfriend. But he’s very sweet, like a daughter.”

SJ-M also had fun playing the games on the show. The 7 of them were split into 2 groups, and the losing team had to drink a “fruit juice” specially made by the winning team. When they heard about splitting into teams, Zhoumi, Eunhyuk, Donghae, and Sungmin immediately stood together to form a team, which they jokingly called “The Best Dancers Team”, leaving Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, and Henry no choice but to rebut that they were “The Young Team”. There was a thick air of competitiveness in the room.

The first round was the “Random Dance Competition.” The host, Ken, would play a song, and the 2 teams had to dance the dance to that song. Everyone was in a mess, and unexpectedly, Kyuhyun and Donghae kept missing the beat, so they tied in the first round. To decide the winner, they played the “Sharp Eyes and Fast Hands” game. A shield and toy hammer were prepared— the winner could hit the other person with the hammer, while the loser had to block the attack with the shield. Donghae kept winning, and swiftly took the hammer, mercilessly hitting Kyuhyun on the head, leaving him no time to block. Everyone at the site was doubled over in laughter.

The second round was “I’ll Sing while You Listen”, where the staff would put on headphones and sing SJ-M songs out loud, while the members had to guess the song titles despite the staff being tone deaf. The “Best Dancers Team” won the game thanks to Donghae’s sharp listening skills, while “The Young Team”’s Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Henry completely lost out.

The producers brought out a trolley with 6 cups of drink in total— 'sour plum juice, tomato juice, guava juice, fruit and vegetable juice, strawberry milk tea, and smoked plum soup’, and invited Zhoumi, Eunhyuk, Donghae, and Sungmin to mix it up and create a beverage for Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, and Henry to enjoy. But they didn’t expect Zhoumi to pull out a plastic bag containing 6 big seasoning bottles of white vinegar, soy sauce, pepper, tomato sauce, sesame dressing, and Wafu salad dressing from under the trolley. Sungmin led the way with 5 big spoonfuls of white vinegar, and the others also didn’t hesitate to pour the fruit and vegetable juice, soy sauce, sesame dressing, wafu dressing, tomato sauce, and strawberry milk tea in to the mixing cup. The colour of the drink turned a dark yellowish green, pretty scary.

Henry reacted to the situation by feigning illness and saying, “I can’t drink it because I have allergies. Kyuhyun and Ryeowook should play rock paper scissors, and the loser would have to drink it.” But the 2 of them were unwilling to make the sacrifice, and insisted that he play too. Henry unexpectedly lost, and kept on crying foul. But he still accepted his loss and picked the cup up. He smelt it first, revealing an expression of disgust and pretended to retch. In the end, he drank it without a word, like a man. Ken asked how the flavour was like, and he painfully answered, “It was like a hotpot that was left out for a week.” Ken also tried a sip, and said, with his face all scrunched up, “All the sauces are spreading around in my mouth, it’s horrible.”
