ii. to the brim

Luhan didn't know what he craved until he discovered Jongin's lips with his own and he thought, this must be what it's like to come upon water in the desert. He can't explain it, this maddening thirst that's sated only when Jongin's mouth descends upon his and a warm, moist tongue flicks in, licks the side of his teeth, swiping across and under as it travels through crevices and slopes he didn't know existed. Whoever says basorexia is incurable has never experienced this, but maybe, just maybe, Jongin is one of a kind, a medicine effective only on Luhan. It's funny because it feels like Jongin is on a quest to excavate unknowns inside his mouth, when Luhan is the one insatiable, constantly searching for elixir in Jongin's kiss. But now he knows and he accepts the Sahara dwelling in his throat—it would vanish anyway, as long as he has Jongin's mouth on his, oasis on his lips. And that knowledge alone is enough for him to love his disease, though not as much as he loves the taste of Jongin. Luhan isn't sure whether Jongin is his drug or a comorbidity, but either way he’s no longer thirsty.
