I too want to make an appeal to Eli, Jared, Arn and the rest of the TA staff.

As Bronxsta alluded to above, not only was my Facebook page linked (which would have required my real private name and not just my forum name), but that I also had been Googled by mods, which makes it appear that they were trying to find anything they could about me. This is a clear violation of a forum member's privacy.

I never wanted to harm Touch Arcade itself or it's forum members but took to Twitter only to warn people that similar privacy violations could happen to them. I wanted Touch Arcade's founders and management to do something about it. But instead of TA rectifying the atrocities if its' mods, I was banned permanently for these warnings outside of TA.

Over my four years at TA, I also worked hard to make TA a better place with consistently valuable comments on gaming, ideas to expand forums with Sales and Android sub-forums and strived to help developers with efforts such as the Indie GoTY. While I did once express myself too harshly in anti-IAP back and forth on one game, I regretted it and accepted his punishment for doing so. The rest of my time at Touch Arcade were ones that were productive and trying to provide valuable feedback on games, largely positive praise of games I liked.

For someone to be banned for a few harmless jokes and being "associated" with a member who sent a very upsetting email to Eli, which I absolutely did not condone, is unfair. Especially while mods violated my personal information and privacy. The mods actions are a far more serious issue at Touch Arcade. And I fear that this could be the tip of the iceberg of the way mods discuss and act towards members behind the scenes. It is unprofessional and just plain unethical. These actions were far more worthy if a ban than anything I have done.

All I want is to return to being an asset to Touch Arcade with my ban rescinded and for the actions of the mods involved to be rectified and monitored going forward.
