Here’s a brief explanation about the YOONAYA LED Screen birthday support.

We did choose the location of the LED screen based on a lot of research.
3 Major Korean presses basically surrounded the building: Dong-A Ilbo across the street, Chosun Ilbo on the right, and SeoulShinmun &SportsSeoul is the second building on the right of Dong-A Ilbo.

The copyright of YonnA’s drama was bought by Chinese TV in 2011. The name “Lim YoonA” reached the first place of the Weibo searching chart (the Chinese Twitter trend) and the Weibo celebrity chart in 2012. YoonA also ranked the first in the 2013 Baidu Actress Chart, the second in the Baidu Beauty Chart. Lim YoonA is also known as a successful actress other than “YoonA of Girl’s Generation”. The new drama of “Prime minister and I” also hit 100M views in 2014.
She is insanely popular in China.

Along with the increasing popularity of Korean dramas and variety shows in the recent 2 years of China, we noticed that the popularity in China is actually considered as one of the “values” of an actor or actress. In other words, it will be mentioned by the press (if any) in order to may be perfect the profile of the cast. However, despite all the popularity and love YoonA has received in China, we barely see it on any news or reports. Therefore, we prepared this LED screen project as a gift for YoonA.

BTW, it was just a happy coincidence that the building is called “Dajung”. We were pretty excited when it was found out too. This must be some kind of fate^^
