My honest viewpoint on the article and how things stand?

Brace yourself. And think long and hard before firing off; these are MY thoughts, which are VALID just as yours are.

First, we don't really know what the applicant pool looks like. He could be honest on it. The issue isn't companies hiring, but where women get the urge to start training. It's not at the job app.

Second, if the company doesn't focus on social issues, fine. Doesn't mean they can't be addressed. They actually kind of are. Poverty, race clashes, religious difference. There are even hints at same sex couplings.

Here is where it's tricky...

Do we want special attention to it? Or treated as everything else? Because if we want equality, we don't get special. Suck it up, buttercup.

Also, we need to make sure things like PTSD are addressed. How about men impacted by Body Dysmorphic Disorder? What about men who are sexually abused? See where I'm going? You can't want inclusion and then exclude. And please tell me how you base a system where one social issue is more important than another. I'd love to hear it.

Next, let's just shoot this one thing to shit really quick: women ARE included in everything in game. Everything. If it were male only characters you could role, then it's an issue. But the game makes no distinction. Doesn't care. You don't get a bonus for rolling a male toon or a debuff for a female toon.

Lastly, this preconceived notion that there are no strong women in the game is horseshit. Read through War Crimes and you'll see what I mean.

And stop with the Aggra shit. Let it go.

And that's all I have to say about that.
