For some reason I have been following the EXO situation in different communities and I am totally amazed about how different the fan reaction (at least in comunities) has been compared to the DBSK lawsuit

It left me thinking if it was a product of the previous experiences or rather because of the unique situation of this aprticular band.

What I mean is, while it took DBSK fandom years to move on (an even now there are fans keeping the faith), the general sentiment on EXO communities is that is time to move on... no less than a week after the whole thing happen.

Their Always keep the fait is #OT11

They went from the delusional stage of "SM is manipulating their SNS" to "is their sentiments and by denying them you are denying their feelings" in hours. When there are still people who think that anything DBSK and JYJ said was scripted by someone.

There is a lot of people already justifying SM and in the forgiving stage when "you can't just blame it on SM" and "the members chose to stay respect that decision" when we still have people writing fanfiction trying to justify the split.

This is like watching the last 5 years of post-lawsuit fandom development in just 3 days.

Amazing.

I wonder if it is because after DBSK, 2PM, WG, SJ and many others, they realize that he is not coming back, live goes on and that the bad will make it in the end.

I wonder if its because it was only 1 member out of 12 and not 3 members out of 5, where more than half the band left, incluiding the best singers. The band is not really in danger. Also EXO fans > Kris fans.

I wonder if its because they will have a concert in less than a week.

Anyway, it is still amazing and at this speed soon enough a member suing SM would not bee seen as an scandal, something that gathers the Kpop cominity in shock and indignation, but just another day in Kpop fandom.
