Okay I just want to toss in my thoughts on this whole Dolce Matt drama. Because apparently everyone is just instantly accepting his apology for what he did overnight. Now being selfish or anything is something we all do, he should not have to apologize for that. When he was threatening to end everything Dolce has worked for, and not only hurt him but the thousands of fans he has was extremely inappropriate but also not something you can say I did that because of my personal life. Now I know Matt, and have for years and many know I have been in a fair share of drama. I fucking hate Levelcap, this is public knowledge. But never would I ever try and take his job or everything he has worked for away just because we can't stand each other. If he ever came to more for help, I would be there. There are lines you do not cross, and aiming at a mans job or something he has put hundreds of hours into is an insight into that person. That was not a lapse in his true self because of his personal life, that's who he is. The other thing I would like to point out is the apology itself. No matter if its sincere or not, at this point he had to apologize to save his channel and everything he worked for and there is really know way to know if it is genuine or just a move to salvage his channel and reputation. Only Matt knows if he is trying to change or not. Just a couple days ago the first openly gay football player was drafted and a fellow player tweeted about it, and was disgusted by it. Though you may not share his views, thats who he is and what he truly believes. The next day he issued a public apology and congratulated the man. Do you truly feel his feelings and beliefs about homosexuality changed over night or was it more of a move to save his career. He may publicly seemed changed, but his beliefs and who he is has not. Not saying he is not capable of change, but that apology was still just a move. I have known Matt a while, and still support him, and feel anyone that enjoys his content should still watch him because you enjoy something that he does enough to watch him. I care about people, but i am an asshole too. I am outspoken and a whole bunch of people dislike me for that. It is probably my worst trait, and everyone knows me and thinks of that when they think of me. That is why YouTubers do not work with me or associate with me. I would like to change that but that will be something I work on over time. That same thing will apply to Matt as he works through this. He knows he does not like that part of himself, and wants to change it. Some mistakes stay with you, It will be a long time til I trust Matt again myself. Think of OJ Simpson. 10$ you did not think of his football career first. Getting past that is a hard thing, it is good that it is starting now. Also Red is a cunt LEL.
