Minecraft Builders Convention :


The MC Builders Con is an online convetion which try to get minecraft builders, teams and creative server together on the same minecraft. The event will be one week or one weekend long. A lot of differtent stuff will be organized on the server with different maps.

Our goals :

- Have fun ! (because minecraft is a game).
- Try to unify the building community and to get it stronger.
- Create contacts between people of the community.
- Make people talk about building.
- Give the opportunity to build with new people.
- Make you discover new the community and talanted people.
- Make you be able to learn and teach building in minecraft.
- Show our truth and love to the community.

How it will works :

The convention will work on a minecraft server and on a teamspeak server at the same time, so you'll be able to talk to people you'll see on minecraft. They're will be three showcase maps on the server : the first for the build teams presentations, the second for the creative servers presentations and the third for the builders presentations. You will be able to collect information about these build teams/creative servers/builders on their respective plots or by talking to them on teamspeak. There will be livestreams all along the convention, some of them will be to showcase some teams, others will be serious discussion about building with some famous builders. You will also be able to participate to some events with minigames such as Sethbling's building game. The exponent will be able to build on a common creative project and you will be able to build on a plot world and to participate to some building contests or to follow building lessons.

What you will be able to do :

As a guest :
With the showcase maps you will able to get in contact with well known team or builders, this will give you the opportunity to meet talented people, to join a team, to find people who can help you on your project/server, and of course to meet all the building community and talk about building. You will also be able to come on the plotworld, to watch livestreams, to participate to events and to talk to people on teamspeak.

As a buildteam owner :
You are able to make an application to get a plot on the showcase map, you will also be able to create an open teamspeak channel to talk to people who want to learn more about your team or to people who want to join your team. This will be an opportunity to get known by the community and to improve your level in building by talking to other teams.

As a solo builder :
Same thing, but you will receive a smaller plot. A builder's plot is not given to anyone who ask for one.

As a creative server owner :
You can apply for a plot too, you will have a direct link to your server (with a sign maybe) on the creative servers showcase map.

Plot sizes :

Build teams : 55*55
Builders : 29*29
Creative Servers : 49*49
Partners teams : 125*125 (on the main hub)

What does partners teams mean :

It means that these teams are helping byt making a map (for exemple the build teams showcase map) and they are part of the organization team. They will have a special rank on the minecraft/teamspeak 3 server and a private channel on teamspeak. Their presentation plot will be on the main hub and this one will be bigger than the other ones. They will have the right to organize events, building lessons and a build contest. They will also be featured on the website as partners and be invited to some livestreams.
Partners teams will be selected by ourselves.

What we are curently looking for :

We need a server host, free if possible, we will give advertising on the server and the website, a plot on the main hub and a private channel on teamspeak. We also need someone who can manage and code plugins, someone who can make a website and a forum, and of course : streamers, builders , build team owners and creative server owners.
