#Lesson So Your Character is a Psychopath...
I get a lot of questions about this: "My character is a psychopath! How can I write him well?"
Well, first off, a psychopath can be many things, so the first step is to narrow down the options. What kind of psychopath is he? Does he see things? Hear things? Is he obsessed with cleanliness?
Once you have decided what kind: research!
And finally: History. People are either born mentally ill, or they become that way. Do your best to know and understand what caused the disorder to begin with, as well as their history (where did they work? Family? Hobbies?)
