@TRCrowe @kayakaren88 @janeakatay According to the article: "@russellcrowe, @yilmazerdogan and several actors continue filming in Kayakoy, a village with a history of two-thousand years, founded in the beginning of the 19th century. The Australian star of the Gladiator, Russell Crowe continues filming the Water Diviner in Fethiye, a province of Mugla. In the movie, Crowe plays an Australian farmer who loses two sons during the Battle of Gallipoli and decides to find out the fate of his third son, and Yilmaz Erdogan is reportedly in Kayakoy as well, taking part in the scenes on horseback as well as the scenes shot within a church. Filming continues in historical ruins, a church, and Kayakoy Sarnic Art Gallery, reportedly with nearly 100 extras from the village and other districts of Fethiye. Due to the photos and footage leaked to media during the filming in Istanbul, Crowe has reportedly increased security, including the footpaths leading to the set being blocked by security to make sure no photographs are taken. Also, mobile devices including the crew's phones are reportedly collected prior to shooting to avoid footage leak from the set. Crowe and Erdogan reportedly use no stunts for the horseback scenes and RC seems to be all-smiles and approving the work after almost every scene filmed. The crew of approximately 200 appears to have made the locals happy, who believe that the film will introduce Fethiye to the world and contribute to tourism in Turkey by hosting such a massive project."
