I can sense the conflict within a certain freegold blog owner: 'upon the Freegold (physical gold) revaluation the euro will become as good as gold'..

..and 'With a free floating gold price, printing euros will be as good as printing gold, at its current price'. Guess who wrote those words?

How can a gold price be 'free floating', and yet steadily and gently rise in a stable fashion? I have no idea.

But the person to ask is (the somewhat confused) Fofoa, who made these comments here: http://neuralnetwriter.cylo42.com/node/3868 in 2010....
..just before he took a wrong turn on the Trail, off to a fantasy he devised where everyone saved in stable gold, and we all live happily ever after. Weird.

BTW, Another/FOA espoused gold as the best way to get through the transition, but....does anyone remember any comments on their Thoughts re post-reset savers ALL saving in gold? Or is that whole idea just an invention, someone's wishful thinking of an ideal world.

Except that world will still have just 'a little inflation' but, according to Fofoa, 'Who really cares about a little inflation anyway?' He doesn't define 'a little', because no one cares anyway! Such compelling logic there.

(My view: inflation is merely a symptom of the $IMFS, there is no need for it post-reset.It hurts businesses and savers/investors alike, so plenty of people care about it).

I'll finish with another pre-Fofoa-getting-lost quote from 2010's Fofoa:
'The euro, on the other hand, with floating gold prices, can say honestly that you can exchange as many euro as you want into gold, without anyone praying that no one does exchange.' and

'With a free floating gold price, printing euros will be as good as printing gold, at its current price.'

Free-floating gold he says!! Printed Euros as good as gold he says!!! (Sounds like what we call freefiat today).

Makes no difference to foreign central banks what they hold? Little savers, different story, they need the stability of a well-managed (0-1% inflation) currency, with a bit of interest.

Well, all credit to Fofoa ,he saw the future back in 2010 it would seem. One wonders where it all went wrong? Interesting stuff to consider.

We're all entitled to change our mind, but some explanation of how and why would be informative (and I am sure, entertaining). Wordy for sure.

I suspect a stony silence will be all we get. Credibility? Bit volatile.
