Here's the longer version of the Kiss & Tell/House story. I initially asked David if he wrote most of the lyrics on the new songs. He said yes, he did. I commented that many of the songs seemed personal, so that made sense. He replied that not all of the songs were directly from his own experiences, and then he cited EOY being inspired by an article (about drones I gather from what I've heard before), and then he said that K&T was based on a House episode. That it was a rather lurid (his word) song, so good that it wasn't based on his own life ;) Sorry I didn't think to ask which episode, but I sort of suspect he might want to keep some of the mystery there or maybe someone else can suss that out of him.
