I agree with MatrixSentry when he says in a recent comment at the Fofoa blog:

'The only thing better than RTFB is to RTFSM (read the fucking source material)!'

I followed that advice a few days ago, and found this:

An FOA quote from May 2001:

'Ha. Ha. They now know that these guys (ECB) are looking out for not only the money of a large
diverse group of nations, but perhaps a new bench mark currency a good portion of the rest of the
world may use. Their stance, recently, states that a currency should be valuable too and even offer a real return for those that hold it for a while.'

I recognised that view, as it matches a statement made in a speech by Mr Noyer of the ECB in 2011, as well as by other ECB insiders. These statements, complemented by ECB policy in other areas leads me to agree, so my view is currently that this has a high probability of happening post-reset. MatrixSentry however is still sticking with the Fofoa view, which might prompt many to question why?

The difference between MatrixSentry and I is I am free to think for myself, and form my own conclusions. His thoughts are somewhat more limited, perhaps because of this view expressed recently by Fofoa:

'Perhaps Victor can then start his own Freefiat or "AG" (or whatever acronym he wants to call it) blog rather than confusing my readers with lists of which posts and concepts are right, and which ones he thinks are wrong. I mean, seriously Victor? "Flow-yes; Glimpsing-no; GLD-yes; Debtor and Savers-no; Once Upon a Time-yes; FOFOA's dilemma-no" Ugh! WTF? Is this kind of ridiculousness common on other blogs that allow reader comments?'

The 'ridiculousness' that Fofoa mentions is anyone having the temerity to disagree with his views. Even when they are clearly at odds with events, and with views expressed by FOA himself. Perhaps he doesn't read many other blogs, because every one that I've ever read always has diverging views. The blog owners need to work harder to emulate Fofoa in stamping that nonsense out ;)

So, MatrixSentry, a verbose supporter of Fofoa, is duty-bound to toe the party line. I suggest to anyone reading this: don't fall into that trap; think for yourself.
