WOWzers, this news is huge, this news could, and should, take us beyond 100,000 signatures.

#WOWpetition has written confirmation from the House of Commons that any age can sign http://wowpetition.com - THERE IS NO AGE LIMIT - the only requirement being an email address.

So I ask you to open an email address for your children, one email address each, in order for them to sign. As a parent myself I understand you might have qualms over this, however it could be explained as a "temporary" or "one off" email address.

Just think how many extra signatures this will bring #WOWpetition! How many children witness the pain and anguish their parents are facing on a daily basis because they have a disability or longterm illness? How many children have brothers or sisters who have a disability? How many children themselves have a disability? The ramifications of this piece of news are enormous. We must utilise this and optimise on it.

This is a piece of democracy, this is giving our children a voice. The future is not just ours, the future is theirs too. Our children are our future, for them to have a say in that future quite frankly, is amazing.

Then of course there are the millions of children who are carers, a difficult and often thankless task for an adult, but for a child even harder. #WOWpetition acknowledges the hard work of carers, both adult and children and calls for a New Deal and Fairness, and also recognition, for the work carers do.

So today, I ask you all to open an email address for every child who wishes to sign to let our children know their voice, their opinion is vital and it could, should, make all the difference.
