When I figure out my own issues I sometimes feel obligated to tell my friends/family what I've learned to help them along the way. Here is a big one:

The human brain is an amazing problem-solver. This gift also comes with a significant downside; when there aren't problems to solve the mind is constantly looking for something to do. This makes us habitually create issues that aren't even worth stressing over. Don't let your mind trick you. Life isn't nearly as serious as we make it out to be. Continually put things into perspective and be focused on appreciating this delicate and temporary existence we were all blessed with!
