#MJFam , something happened the other day and I just wanted to share this incredible story with you…..

I was outside walking in Nature on a glorious day. The breeze was gently blowing, making the treetops dance and sway. I stopped under this enormous tree and looked up into its lush, green canopy of art…the leaves intracately intertwining like mysterious works of art---an unveiling of a masterpiece right before my eyes! I could see shapes above the tree, in the clouds…..shapeshifting sculptures coming alive.

Birds were scattered on the ground, pecking around for worms and bugs. I just stood there in awe and watched---with a Great reverence for God's creations.

But I noticed something…..one of the birds was walking funny. And so I looked closer and I saw it-----

the bird had gotten tangled up in a string of some kind--maybe some fishing line or dental floss, I'm not quite sure. It was wrapped several times around both ankles. Every time he tried to walk he would nearly fall over. It tore my heart to pieces. I just stood there in tears…watching…helplessly. I tried to approach the bird so I could catch him and cut his feet loose. But, it flew away.

I prayed so hard that day and night for God to free this bird somehow. I knew it was all in His hands….

The very next day, I was out walking again in that same area. And can you believe it? --- there was that SAME bird…walking funny, taking a few steps, stumbling, almost falling over, feet still entangled. I sat down under the tree and just watched him for the longest time…and talking to him...I don't even know how much time had passed. All I know is, as I was looking at this poor bird, I focused every molecule of my being…every ounce of strength and energy from the deepest part of my soul, while praying…….

You won't believe what happened next.

He paused while pecking around for bugs…..and lifted a foot up to scratch his head! His feet were free!!! The string was still there…I could see it…but it was only wrapped around one ankle now. I was sooooo happy.

Now, I'm not saying I have special powers or anything like that, ok? I'm not saying that at all…I'm just saying God works miracles in the most wondrous ways every day, and I truly believe He works through us. I am very greatful that I was able to witness it…to be a part of it.

Anyway, sorry for the long story but I know a lot of you here have such a genuine, deep love for animals and I wanted to share this amazing story with you.
