Almost all INFINITE members have taken part in dramas. Hoya casted as a man who loves the main character, Seo In Guk in “Reply 1997” last year. He gained much popularity and acting skill also got praised. Besides, L who is the visual of INFINITE also casted in a popular drama “Master’s Sun” as the young Seo Ji Sub.
For the members’ performance in the dramas, “Most of us have the chances to take part in the dramas and we have got much precious experience. In fact, all of us want to cast in dramas and being an actor.” INFINITE said in the interview.
On the other hand, other members such as Sunggyu and Dongwoo have collaborated with different musicians and produce songs with different styles. “Sunggyu has collaborated with Nell sunbaenim before and, Dongwoo and Hoya also debut as hip-hop group, INFINITE-H, collaborated with DJ Primary. We are honoured that we can cooperate with so many marvelous musicians and hope that we can have more chances in the future.”
Prepare for World Tour
INFINITE held their first World Tour “One Great Step” in Seoul on 9th August. INFINITE, who had joined the hallyu concert here before, will hold the concert on 5th October for Inspirits. Besides, the most expensive VIP tickets ($268) has sold out in a short period of time.
“Once we heard that the tickets are almost sold out, we are so surprised. We are thankful to all Singapore inspirits’ support. Since the sale of tickets have good result, this increases our pressure about how to show a more perfect performance. However, we still want to come to Singapore and meet everybody soon after I think of the energy the fans give to us.”
Actually holding world tour is good news, but Woollim Entertainment suddenly announced the news about merging with SM C&C before the Seoul concert. This makes many fans surprised. What makes the fans worried is the operation of big company seems commercialized. The fans may need to spend much more money to support their idol. At the end of Seoul concert, INFINITE leader Sunggyu promised that INFINITE will not change. This helps to reduce the fans’ worries.
At the same time, Hoya also mentioned that many people didn’t have good anticipation when they announced the world tour. So this made them felt worried too. But they understand that world tour is a great chance to step forward and the experience can help them to grow a lot.
“We have been working hard and we want everybody around the world to see our performance. We didn’t think that we can hold world tour in a short period time since we debut. We need to thank our fans and also the staff of our company, and everyone who help INFINITE so that our dream can come true. Through the world tour, we hope that we can show our gratitude with actions!”
