@Samir I forgot to attach this to my jobsecure application & the email for you mentioned in the job post didn't work- so I improvised.
I just stumbled upon the Pinterest internship on Twitter and was immediately intrigued. Reading the responsibilities for the job- I realized they are all the main reasons I love Pinterest. It can be used to fill empty time in a schedule, or in my case, procrastination, but can actually benefit the future. I can't tell you how many times I have gone back to my boards to look for a recipe or a craft idea that I'd pinned a few months back.
As a recent college graduate with a journalism degree, I understand the importance of using social media as a tool for research and to catch trends before they are, well trending. I have a wide range of knowledge about celebrities (Meryl Streep is a favorite) and what 20-something year old girl isn't obsessed with animals?
I am employed for a company that has nothing to do with news or media and I am currently looking for a job that would better suit me. Honestly, I just want to enjoy the work I do and somehow make a difference in this crazy world. If you would be willing to take a leap of faith and give me an interview, I would be more than willing to take the plunge and move to the city.
