Tom Welling about his role on Parkland: "...I did a lot of research to actually understand what brought Roy Kellerman to become a Secret Service agent and mostly something about his background, where he comes from, his family and the reasons behind the choices he made; basic research I had to do to get myself into the
part better..."

"There's a lot I liked about this character...I loved the fact that he was a good man and he had a very considerable job, beside the fact that he was a good son and husband. "

"I think the hardest part for me was to try to express his reaction to this complicated unexpected event;
and well, I have to say that both Peter [Landesman] and the production were very good at recreating the right atmosphere, in such a way that for us actors was even better to get into the characters, trying to measure ourselves up to these people who actually existed in real life."

"It was awesome filming the scene where I face the coroner off...Among the other things, It was interesting working with Rory [Cochrane], mostly because I really admire the guy and what he does in general.
It was a scene that in a way represents the high point of the whole movie.
We basically spent four days in a row filming in a very tight location. So that way we were able to recreate the right atmosphere. We even got to the point in which we couldn't get any closer to one another than that.
I have to say that, despite the seriousness of the movie, filming this particular scene was very nice for me.
I still haven't seen the movie and I'm honestly eager to see how the whole thing turned out."
