Tomorrow we welcome the players, staff and around 1800 Millwall fans to the Amex. This is their first trip to the Amex on a Saturday and Sussex Police will be working with colleagues from British Transport police and the stewards at Brighton to ensure your day is a good one.

Millwall fans are located in the south stand ( follow orange signs) the best way to get to the stadium is using public transport. Your match day ticket gives you free travel in the area highlighted on the rear of the ticket. A special train leaves Falmer at 1730 stopping at East Croydon and London Bridge post match.

If arriving by train the best route to the away end is turning right and going past the West Stand. There are no plans to hold any supporters back post match and stewards and police officers can assist with any questions.

In the city the pubs around the station are likely to be home fans only. Millwall fans normally drink closer to the seafront. No pub has been told by Sussex Police not to take home or away fans. This will be the landlords choice.

Please be respectful of supporters from both clubs. Any allegations of assault or homophobic related incidents will be dealt with robustly. Millwall have visited Brighton many times and the relationship between the supporters is not one where we have to put loads of police on the game. That being said, anyone wishing to attend to do anything other than support their respective club will be dealt with by stewards and or police.

I hope you enjoy your day at the Amex. We are here to assist you on the day.
