From the IMDB boards, this person was at the concert.
"Yep, I was there and I saw Rob briefly during the show. He was in the "rehearsal room" on the second floor with windows & curtains that overlook the left side of the stage. The curtains were slightly parted in places and I caught a few glimpses of Rob (he's hard to miss, even in the worst environments) and I knew he was wearing a red hat (turns out it was a beanie instead of a baseball cap) and a darkish t-shirt (it turned out to be olive green). Someone else saw Sam up there. I saw Bobby peek out a lot during the performance of the band that opened for him. Lots of people and musicians were up there drinking and messing around. People on the 2nd floor balcony opposite probably had a better view into that room than I did standing on the floor in front of the stage and looking up, because I could only see people when they were standing up close to the windows. I didn't see Rob come in or leave.

But...after the show I waited around in the bar area at the back of the performance room for a while debating whether to go out and get in the longgggggg line in the bar at the front of the club to talk with Bobby, and although I didn't see Rob again I could tell everyone was still up in the rehearsal room. A little while later I left the performance room and went into the front entry and decided to get in the Bobby line after all, which in 15 minutes didn't move and inch, so I kept going outside on the sidewalk for a smoke & coming back in line. There were 2 slimy looking paps out front just waiting like vultures, and security was keeping them at the curb. I was talking about Bobby's performance with one of the security guards when another came out from the performance room and said "OK, let's get him out of here now" and five guards rushed back into the performance room (which had been cleared and closed by this point). I knew immediately they meant Rob, and they were getting him out one of the back entrances in the alley. This was around midnight.

I didn't know about the pics the paps got when Rob arrived at the Troubadour until after I got home, but I had a gut feeling there was a swarm of papz in the alley waiting for him to leave, and I knew I'd never be able to walk around back in time to see him. And from the accounts I heard about, I'm glad I didn't witness that killer bee attack. So the security guard came back out and started talking to me again, saying "you know that vampire kid?" I played dumb to get him to spill, so he said "that guy that plays a vampire, he was here tonight, he's friends with Bobby Long, and we just had to get him & his group out to his car. Those paps were horrible, just horrible to him, about 40 of them, pushing and shoving him, knocking his glasses (sunglasses?) off him when he was trying to get into the car. We tried best we could to keep them off him but it was hard. Then they got into their cars and started chasing his car. I don't know why they are so mean to nice people like him." At that point I knew I'd missed a bloodbath and also knew I'd see & hear plenty when I got home.

The line for Bobby was still not moving so I went outside again and a pap was on his phone talking to another one saying "get over to the Chateau right away. Yes, go there, just go. He'll be there, I'm on my way." Made me sick to my stomach that they are so familiar with Rob's friends and habits. I finally gave up on the Bobby line (I've talked to him plenty of times & gotten plenty of autographs, and I'll get his album later), went back to my car and went home dreading what I'd see & hear about. FVcking paps.

I've seen Bobby perform six or seven times now (I've lost count LOL). He's SO talented and always entertaining, but I have to say last night wasn't his best show IMO. Seemed like he'd been drinking a bit (not unusual but he was slurring his words together more than normal), and I thought the back up musicians on mandolin and electric violin detracted somewhat from the songs they performed on. The musicians were talented, that's obvious, but especially the violinist was either sharp or flat a lot, and clashed at points with the mandolin player. And for me, having taken piano, guitar and violin lessons for years in my youth, I notice when instruments aren't in tune with each other and it's a fingernails-on-chalkboard distraction for me. Bobby was better during his solo songs. At the of the show end he got the crowd very quiet, unplugged and sung his last song without mike or amp. Amazing!

All in all it was a fun night, in spite of the ugly underbelly of the photography world slinking and sliming, waiting like crouched crocodiles to fight each other to the death for the feast. There's an idea...The Paparazzi Hunger Games. I'd pay to see that"
