To all you McSwarek shippers sending me your disgruntled tweets, listen up:
When I love a TV character I'm interested in seeing them grow and evolve as they strive for their "happily ever after" -- even if it means horrible heartache along the way (which it usually does).
If what you're interested in is watching two characters be together even if they're not ready and/or able to be good partners to each other, then I'm sorry but you're not gonna get what you want.
Let me be clear: we (the writers) *love* Andy and Sam and the rest of our 15 Division family. We've loved these characters (and obsessed over them) for the better part of 6 years now -- since before you knew they existed.
You can keep sending me your crusty tweets but if you sincerely love Andy & Sam as much as I do, you'd only want them to be together *when they're right for each other*.
When will that be? You'll have to keep watching and have a little faith.
For those of you who've lost the faith, I can't force you to keep watching.
But you are gonna miss one hell of a ride.
