The contract expired. The linguistic of everything going down doesn't really matter. What matters is artists go through several labels throughout their careers. You move on. It would be even better if he actually performs his own music on the show. We have no idea what kind of role this is and to what extent. I love the younger viewer demo because the more the merrier. Maybe it's just me but I see no connection with Adam doing maybe a handful of appearance on GLEE and it somehow helping his music career. I'm sure some GLEE fans will check out his music but I wouldn't count on anything more. What it could do is open up other gigs like hosting, other guest appearance TV shows etc.. It's a paying acting gig. Something to add to Adam's resume. The ratings may not be as huge as it used to be but the show seems to be huge internationally.

I really don't want him to spend too much time on Glee. This is good exposure and the Glee teens are excited. Adam is going to be very busy with many more opportunities. As a fan from the very beginning I always wanted him to do everything. He knows so many people in the entertainment business. I like artists that are multi-talented and can do more than one thing. His first love is music and that will always be first. I'm excited for what's to come.

This has nothing to do with Adam's music career. One thing has nothing to do with the other. Adam is also making an album of original music. Jessica's people tied her appearance on glee with her album promo. Adam isn't in album promo mode. I'm sure some Glee fans will go and check out his music but when Adam puts out his own original music I can assure you his people won't tie Glee with it. Not even Idol can move albums any more.

The direction that Adam will be going on his next album will be rock. Pop/Rock, Alt Rock but it will not be a dance pop album or 80's cover album. The album cover story was put out by his people for a reason. In a few weeks we will know why.



There was never a consideration of releasing a cover album on the table. Adam has the best PR in the business. Stay tuned.

RCA Records is under the Sony umbrella. Sony International handles all international affairs for their artists.

Sony International does set up some of the tours. Sony was very involved in Adam's Asian concerts. Their reps are also there. I believe Sony International was also responsible for David A. Asian tour.

His corebase has brought the album. Since we don't have international numbers we don't know how much he's sold since he went on tour overseas. Here in the U.S with no radio there aren't going to be a lot of casual fans hearing about it. This is true for 99% of artists but 185k U.S sales with no radio play and stopping the promotion of the album in the US is pretty good sales.
