[ADMIN POST] "When I was 20, I loved music so much that I wanted to become a singer so I just came to Seoul with a friend. I went through many jobs and finally came here through many auditions. It’s touching that my dreams are slowly becoming fulfilled, one step at a time" - Kim Sungkyu

Kim Sungkyu -- 김성규

Why do people judge by only looking at the smaller picture? Contextualize then interpret then if you feel you have the right to judge, then do so at your own will. In his latest tweet, he stands as Kim Sungkyu. Not as INFINITE Kim Sungkyu. Even though it was after he debuted as INFINITE Kim Sungkyu and attained the status of an artist and get called to be on the show, he made an apology as an individual - sitting at the common bench as all of us; merely people in the society.

Saying/using the wrong choice of words to later then regret and then reflect. Isn't that something that all of us can relate to? But how many of us can apologize and bear full responsibility over our words?

Yes, he ought to be more careful over his words on broadcast (though this footage was released as BTS video).

Let's just put things straight. Kim Sunggyu and Park Eunji. In The Genius: Rules of the Game, each player is engaged to use their minds to win the game, to think of probabilities, to form alliances, or even betrayals in order to keep themselves alive in the game. In essence, to stay on the game, they'll have to trick each other. From the 1st episode, she was always good at getting at him. Thus, the "not-so-good" relatonship image of this two. If you watched the show (at least even 1 episode and not that BTS video), wouldnt it make sense that based on the context, he meant that as she gets older, she gets more and more cunning. The usage of "yo-mul" was probably the key to all the uproar.

Bottomline: He wasn't referring that all 30 year old women are like that.

When netizens starts buzzing saying how fame got into his head and all that, what's the link? Do you speak without thinking only when you get more popular because I definitely know some people who does so and they're just imperfectly normal people.

You got it already. A formal apology from him himself. At least he dares to step up and give a sincere apology on his actions (though to some it was not needed). When one does bad, it spreads like wildfire. When one does good, it just gets overlook while the lucky ones will get their stories shared.

But hey, as someone who watch him from 2010 till now, I would say that this is not a good enough reason for me to leave him as some are doing now and no, I am not a delusional Inspirit.

I guess, it's just the me who is lacking alot that understand that humans are made of imperfections and flaws and that just like me, he make mistakes. We all can relate to the feeling of badly wanting a second chance after making a mistake. We all can.
