-Details on Survarium In-Game Factions-

Hello everyone!

First of all, I’d like to thank you for the active discussion of our game on the forums. We received a huge amount of feedback on various subjects and have paid close attention to the fact that some of our ideas are not completely clear to everyone. In this message I’d like to focus on important game aspect such as in-game factions, and also share details on how exactly the players are going to build relationships with them.

For starters, let me explain the difference between the player clans and the game factions. Clans are groups of players created by the players and it is the players who determine the policies of the clans. Factions are global powers created by the game developers. They provide tasks; sell equipment, weapons and ammunition. The players can improve their relations with the factions by accomplishing their tasks, the better your relations with a certain faction, the broader the equipment selection available to you.

The relationships between a clan and the factions are built accordingly. The more tasks accomplished by the clan players, the better the terms between the clan and the faction; in high levels of relations the clan leader can strike up a union, so from that moment on the clan is going to be a representative of the faction in the game.

The second point we would like to shed light on is the strength of factions. Many players have already noticed that the Renaissance Army looks much more powerful than Scavengers and the Black Market. It is indeed so. For our game we have invented a two-level system of factions. Initially only Scavengers and Black Market are eager to deal with the player. It is only after the player achieves maximum reputation with Scavengers or the Black Market that the stronger factions agree to start dealing with you. Among those are the Renaissance Army and two other factions yet unannounced. This said, not all of them will be happy to establish contact with you. Thus, the Renaissance Army will accept to its ranks both Scavengers and the Black Market combatants, while one of the unannounced factions will be enrolling Scavengers only.

In a nutshell, that’s it for the description of how we envision the factions in the game. We’ll be happy to receive your feedback and comments on this subject.
