Are you aware that during a break from yesterday's(04/04) testimony, expert witness LaViolette made a beeline 4 one of Travis' sisters, & spoke 2 her unbidden? What gives her that right? Did she not violate one of the victims'rights statute? Morally & ethically, her action was an invasion and assault of Travis' family's space. That action alone tells me that LaViolette is selfish and self-serving much like her client. No self control.
The DEFENSE Team, including their x-pert witnesses, is out of control. They are vindictive and repeatedly comport themselves in an unprofessional manner. The sneers, the nose picking, mini foot stamping tantrums, sighs & snorts of displeasure by whomever is conducting the direct or cross, the mitigation specialist giggling like a schoolgirl with the defendant and passing notes from defendant to gallery and visa versa. I have ONLY referenced several of many eyebrow raising acts which clearly shows me and the public that the DTeam have total disregard and lack of respect for the Court and jury and the victim of the brutal slaughter.
The taxpayers' of Arizona have thus far shelled out more than 1.4 million dollars just for the defense while the defendant or an agent of the defendant is deriving income from 'artwork' being sold on EBay. Should not that money be put towards paying back the Arizona taxpayer? Why is that confessed murderer getting a free ride? What an affront to the decent, hardworking people of Arizona.
Please explain also why LaViolette was allowed to testimony about Travis' behavior from childhood to his death when she never interviewed anyone, besides the self confessed liar and murderer, who might have give her a clearer, unbiased picture of the Alexander family and the murdered man himself?
Popular opinion on twitter & facebook & crime forums clearly show that Juan Martinez is on track with his "style" of examination. I, and they, do not feel he is too aggressive in his approach. The defense strategy is a sham and is as clear as a boil on someone's face. Because the defense witnesses are clearly and knowingly biased in the defendant's favor Juan M. is forced to PRY, no FORCED to separate FACTS from fiction. To date, Juan M. has been successful in bringing forward the truth from the hostile witnesses. In the end, it is not the so called theatrics and tears and play acting that will bring a 1st degree premeditated verdict, it will be the FACTS & TRUTH.
