Details of Andy Murray's new management deal

Fresh from regaining No. 2 spot in the world rankings, Andy Murray is looking to build on his commercial appeal in Asia and the Middle East with a newly-expanded management team, featuring greater tennis expertise.
The reigning U.S. Open and Olympic champion had been out of contract with American Idol creator Simon Fuller's XIX Entertainment, which has managed the Briton since 2007.
Now Fuller has teamed up with former Indian tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi's agency, Globosport, to form a new joint venture, with Murray signed up as XIX Globosport's first client. Bhupathi has built a successful sports management agency since ending a playing career that produced 12 Grand Slam doubles titles.
"I believe a mix of Simon's experience and Mahesh's understanding of the sport will create the perfect team for my off court interests and will allow me to continue to dedicate myself and focus on my goals on the court," Murray, who won the Sony Open title in Miami on Sunday, said in a statement.
Ugo Colombini, a former Italian tennis pro turned agent, is set to join the company to support Murray at tournaments and help him add to his first Grand Slam title won in September at the U.S. Open.
XIX Globosport said in a statement that the company will "create dynamic new opportunities in developing markets around the world, with the burgeoning sports and entertainment opportunities in India and the Middle East."
The company could also generate commercial opportunities in those regions for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder David Beckham, who is signed up to XIX and also recently struck a deal through the IMG agency to promote Chinese football.
"Our business is built on strategic partnerships with key individuals in different parts of the world," Fuller said. "And I'm delighted to be working with Mahesh as we look to expand into the Indian sub-continent and other developing markets".
Fuller's sports management roster also includes 2008 Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton, who is in his first season driving for Mercedes after leaving McLaren.
Fuller is also poised to sign 2012 Tour de France champion Bradley Wiggins up to XIX Entertainment.
